Located in Brampton, ON, but also serving Toronto, Mississauga, and the rest of the GTA, Glo Face+Body Bar is a home-based beauty bar specializing in makeup artistry and body contouring.
Founder and C.E.O., Saphron, specializes in soft glam, bridal, event, carnival, and photography makeup, and has been working in the beauty industry since 2015. Her work has been featured in rapper, Drake's, NOKIA music video, The Caribbean Camera newspaper, on a number of bus shelters around Brampton, and the social media pages of popular makeup brands like Make Up For Ever and NYX Cosmetics.
"My passion for all things beauty stemmed from my initial love for makeup. I turned to makeup after I stopped dancing at 18 and needed a new outlet for self-expression. My makeup career began in 2015 when I started posting makeup tutorials on YouTube before realizing that I had a true passion for the art and wanted to expand my knowledge and glam other people as well. I got a job working at Sephora in 2016 as a Color Consultant. There, I had a successful career and quickly became Beauty Studio Captain, Director-In-Charge, and Senior Artist in Training. I also graduated from cosmetology school in 2016 and received my Makeup Artist Diploma with high honors and started my business. I left Sephora in 2017 and moved on to work as a Freelance Makeup Artist for Make Up For Ever until 2018. My makeup motto is "enhance your beauty, not mask it". I pay great attention to detail, take tremendous pride in my work, and enjoy building lasting relationships with my clients. I don't take a single thing for granted and appreciate every one of my clients who put their trust in me to carry out their vision and be part of their memories that last a lifetime."
